Open Postdoctoral Position in Innate Immunity Regulation by MSC at the Department of Surgery and Translational Medicine, University of Milano-Bicocca.
Candidates must have completed their master's degree no more than four years before the date of application.
Project: Our research is dedicated to delineate mechanisms regulating MSCs mediated innate immunity regulation and to understand the environmental signals required to optimally induce MSCs activity. The project aims at dissecting the therapeutic potential of novel, cell-based therapies that use MSCs under different conditioning medium. We will use biochemical, genetic, cellular, and systems-based approaches to address these points experimentally.
Requirements: We are looking for candidates with a PhD or MD/PhD and a strong background in molecular immunology and in Mesenchymal Stem cells Biology.
Experience with molecular, cellular and multi-color FACS analysis is essential for this position. Hand on experience with transcriptome approaches is of advantage. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a high degree of motivation and organization are a prerequisite for this position.
Application process: The following documents should be submitted:
• Cover letter with detailed statement of research interests and experience (not more than 1-2 pages)
